Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a Senior Engineer with a proven track record in the design of underground / civil engineering structures including tunnels and shafts.
Candidates should be practical and demonstrate good commercial skills that will help develop and expand our business in the region.

Requirements

A good academic background with a civil engineering bachelors or masters degree
Chartered status in civil engineering
Significant post graduation experience undertaking the design of underground structures including both insitu and precast linings for shafts and tunnels.
Has worked within multi-disciplinary teams, and has been responsible for co-ordination with MEP, Architecture, Utilities.
Experience working in Rail, Highways and water conveyance projects.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (clear, concise report writing will be expected)
Commercially aware with a flexible attitude to both the type of work undertaken and the level of responsibility given
Experience of team leading roles, and liaison with Clients, Contractors, design team and third parties
Although based in Dubai, you will be required to travel regionally and be eligible to work in both KSA and Qatar

Key purpose

Structure and reporting relationship

Key accountabilities

The Revenue Protection officer will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support within Revenue and Protection Department.

Daily reports
Daily Fine Data Base
Daily Revenue protection (cumulative fine, violations, paid and unpaid fines)
Weekly/Monthly Revenue protection report
Weekly/Monthly Fine Analysis report
Weekly/Monthly Ticket Inspector Report
*The above reports will be submitted to Revenue Protection Supervisor

Monthly updates for Sickness and absence report
Monthly updates for Business Expenses report
Monthly updates for Mobile report
*The above reports will be submitted to the Operations Coordinator as part of the Monthly updates from Revenue Protection Department to the Operations Director

Coordinate with other Operations Section Coordinators and Administrators and keep track of Revenue and Protection staff records including contact details and emergency contact details
Responsible for monitoring attendance, overtime, leaves (annual, sick and etc.) and ensure that Mohr and Operations Tracker is updated
Create and maintain an efficient filing system
Co-ordinate with all concerned parties to ensure an efficient level of general office support activities – e.g. filing, diary keeping, stationery, meeting rooms management, procurement requisitions
To perform as My HR super user, provides support and act as first point of contact of employees in relation to the use of My HR Employee Self Service

Key purpose

The purpose of this position is to provide effective engineering and maintenance services covering the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system for Dubai Metro.

Assist the AFC Team Leader in carrying out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities on AFC systems covering automatic gates, ticket vending machines, ticket office machines, central control and AFC station equipment and related components;

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are currently looking to hire an experienced Project Director to lead and deliver on a major Intelligent Transportation System Project in Dubai.

The Project Director will report to the Engineer and will be responsible for multiple Contract Packages. He will co-ordinate with Client, Services Authorities, Resident Engineers and the Contractors to avoid any potential conflict between different Contract Packages. Responsible to co-ordinate with Resident Engineers and different Contract packages to minimize claims and disputes. He will provide additional counsel to the Resident Engineers to ensure efficient management of Contracts and will also ensure that uniform good engineering practices are adopted on all the Contracts. Attends all the important meetings along with the Resident Engineer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide on-site leadership for project team by team building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
Plan, direct, coordinate, and lead activities to ensure that goals, objectives and all elements of the project are accomplished within the prescribed project Charter.
Ensure co-ordination between the Contract Packages
Facilitate communications between the RE’s, Contractors Staff, Client Staff and Service Authorities
Take the lead with monthly reporting of the overall Project to the Client
Ensure that a uniform approach to supervision is adopted across the Contract Packages
Facilitate conflict resolution if it becomes necessary

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant Degree from a recognised University coupled with a minimum of 15 years industry experience.
Proven experience as a Project Director working on at least 2 previous projects of similar nature in the same capacity.
Dubai experience preferred, regional experience minimum.

Job Summary
 
AECOM are currently seeking a Track Alignment Chief Specialist to be based in Dubai.

Job Responsibilities will include:
 
Being part of the RTA rail management team responsible for reviewing and managing design and construction of various major projects.
 
Being responsibile for track alignment and track geometry for LRT, Transit, heavy haul and High Speed rail transportation projects.
 
Developing technical specifications for track systems together with the rail systems managers.
 
Ensuring that all design and implementation activities are performed with highest safety and quality culture in mind and with the “best” industry practice.

Minimum Requirements

Be fully experienced with all international standards and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in civil engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years experience overall.

Minimum 5 years experience in rail projects in a similar capacity.

Middle East experience would be advantageous.
