University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is seeking applications from candidates with strong analytical, critical thinking and report writing skills for the position of Institutional Research Officer.
The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) leads UOWD’s activities in relation to institutional research, assessment and accreditation protocols for the University. The functions of the office is related to the collection, analysis and dissemination of a variety of data and reports for use in monitoring and improving educational programs and administrative units to meet student requirements and institutional goals.
This role provides support for accreditation and quality assurance projects and activities. The position will support the development and maintenance of processes and systems, ensuring consistency, completeness and accuracy. In addition, the position will contribute towards the improvement of quality assurance processes and will provide specialist support for compliance activities.
The position holder will:
Assist in writing, editing and preparing submissions and key supporting documents for all accreditation activities including coordination of accreditation visits
Provide support in meeting CAA, KHDA and TEQSA requirements
Ensure that the QA processes are conducted according to the relevant UOW and UOWD agreements.
Maintain relevant documentation
Provide support in the administration and reporting of survey results and lecturer and subject evaluations
Provide support to the Office of Institutional Research as directed by Manager, OIR

Minimum qualification required is bachelor’s degree in relevant area
Minimum 3 years administrative experience with familiarity with higher education practices

Remuneration & Benefits:

UOWD is seeking applications to fill the position of a full-time Assistant Professor in Finance to commence preferably in the upcoming Autumn Semester 2018.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in this position you must have prior experience of teaching both undergraduate and post-graduate courses in the field of Finance, ideally focusing on Portfolio simulation, Banking, derivatives and Risk management.
