Our hotel is just across from the Dubai World Trade Centre and within walking
distance of the Dubai Convention Centre. A short drive will take you to DIFC|

kilometers away. Standing 53 stories tall| the hotel comprises 474 guest rooms
and suites| as well as 180 one- to three-bedroom serviced apartments. All
accommodations span at least 36 square. Our expansive conference center boasts
meeting rooms with natural illumination and state-of-the-art audiovisual

_POSITION PURPOSE_

Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources| you are responsible
to assist in all medical related situations in the hotel and organize
different associate activities related to health & welfare during the year.

_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS_

Assist all associates in medical and health related issues.

Provide accurate advice and help for all associate in health and sickness situations.

Provide accurate statistics and reports to the Human Resources Team on all health related matters on monthly basis.

Escort associates to hospital visits and treatments when necessary.

Provide Assistant Director of Human Resources with accurate statements regarding associate’s health.

Ensure that all health related legislation is continuously and accurately adhered to in the hotel.

Together with the Director of Risk Assessment| lead and maintain the health and safety policy and training| manual handling training included.

Ensure that a sufficient and updated list of First Aiders is present in each department at any given time.

Manage sick leave policy in accordance to the Starwood policies. Responsible for assessing all sickness and reports for communication to the Human Resources Team and the relevant leaders.

Responsible for the reimbursements of all hospital and medical visits of associates.

Assist the Director of Human Resources to set up a wellness program for the hotel.

Co-organize associate events| social activities and recognition for associates.

_SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE| SKILLS AND ABILITIES_

We expect that you do have the experiences/ behaviors below. You:

Had previous experience of working in hotel

Has valid DHA nurse license

Job Summary

Answer patients| questions and determine how to assist them. Record patient
symptoms| medical information| and changes in condition. Make referrals if
necessary. Measure and record patients| vital signs. Recommend and implement
patient care plans and interventions based on assessment of patient
conditions. Administer medications or start intravenous fluids| and note times
and amounts. Provide basic patient care and treatments| such as taking
temperatures/blood pressures| cleaning/dressing wounds| massaging muscles| or
delivering hot/cold applications. Administer emergency treatment for
injuries/illnesses; arrange medical care if necessary. Inform
employer/employees of health problems to minimize or eliminate potential
illness risks. Record| store| and maintain guests| assessment and counseling
information. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of professional area| seek
additional information when presented with unfamiliar situations; participate
in ongoing professional development.

Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents| injuries| and
unsafe work conditions to manager; use proper equipment; wear appropriate
personal protective clothing. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary
information; protect company assets. Anticipate and address guests| service
needs. Discuss work topics discreetly and quietly; speak with others using
clear and professional language. Ensure employee compliance with company
standards/policies and external regulations. Develop and maintain positive
working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen
and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with
quality assurance expectations and standards. Grasp| turn| and manipulate
objects of varying size and weight| requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye
coordination. Reach overhead and below the knees| including bending| twisting|

weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other
reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
