Work onsite with customers

As a Field Operator – Tubular Running Services (TRS) you will provide support for the Tubular Running Services division. You will oversee operational work to ensure pre-job checks and basic on-site maintenance are carried out safely. You will work under your own initiative to fulfill your role and meet the client’s needs.

You will be responsible for operation, installation and troubleshooting in field for the following major equipment and tasks as below:

• Handling Basic, mechanical, and pneumatic tools such as Elevators, Slips, Spiders, Flash Mounted Slips, Manual and Belt Tongs.

• Managing Diesel and Electrical power units Zone I, Zone II and Non-Zoned

• Casing and Tubing Tongs from size 24″ to 2.7/8

• Stabbing casing and working on Derrick board

• Casing Filling up and circulating Tools.

• Casing and tubing Bucking at Field and workshop.

• Handling the Joint Analyzer Makeup System “JAM” and Graph analysis.

Job Summary
The Resident Engineer will report to the Principal / Senior Resident Engineer
unless other lines of reporting have been indicated by the Principal Resident
Engineer. Resident Engineer assigned to various disciplines / Services of the
work will have an important part in assuring the quality of work in the
finished project. The RE must be completely familiar with the plans-
specifications- particular specifications- and construction methods for the
phases of the work to which they have been assigned.
Minimum Requirements

The Resident Engineers will be responsible for the activities and efficienc

of staff for the satisfactory prosecution of the work under their supervision

The RE has the responsibility to build and maintain an organization that can
effectively provide the necessary staking- testing- and inspection to ensure
the project is constructed according to the plans and specifications. The RE
should be familiar with the plans- specifications- and any Contract amendments
to effectively administer the work.

The primary responsibilities will entail;

Erection/Construction/Commissioning Supervision and Management of Primary/ Grid/ Public Distribution Substation. Review all construction activities regarding compliance with local Authorities and public convenience.

Witnessing of SAT & FAT if required.

Review and approval of Design and Construction documents- Material submittals- Method Statements.

Progress Monitoring- Cost Control- Change Order Management. Progress review and reporting.

Ensure the Contractor`s compliance with the Contract Documents & Inspect all workmanship and materials.

Coordination with all Stakeholder as required.

Maintain all file records on designated forms. These records include all reports on work force- equipment- progress- safety- etc.

Review and approve the Contractor`s shop drawings as per the Client Procedure.

Locate- execute- and interpret all soils and materials testing according to the provisions in the Contract Documents and Standard Specifications.

Responsible for Contract enforcement and is not to relieve the Contractor of his responsibilities without Client authorization.

Responsible for the final materials submittals and review- which shall be forwarded to the Department with recommendations for final approval.

Prepare applicable Joint Measurement Sheets

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering

10 to 15 years` experience in Construction Supervision for Primary Sub Stations.
