Job Summary
AECOM Middle East is looking to recruit an experienced Landscape Architect-
for a major landscape development in Abu Dhabi. The landscape Architect shall

Job Duties

Maintains and prepares a variety of records- including daily/weekly progress
reports- or as directed by The Resident Engineer.

Ensuring that responses to contractors` submittals/Shop drawings and RFI`s are
complete and in compliance with the contract documents/duration cycle where
problems are found- work with Team Lead to resolve.

Well knowledge with the type of hardscape and soft landscape materials
specified in the drawings .

Review the Contractor`s hard and soft landscape shop drawings.

Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor
submitted plans.

Assist the Resident engineer to identify- respond to or evaluate technical
issues to maintain the schedule.

Highlights any non-conformity to construction/ engineering related issues on
site through issuance of NCRs

Visit the plants nursery for further healthy selection.

Attends progress review meetings and co-ordination meetings to assist the
Resident Engineer in resolving any site issues such as discrepancies in
project`s drawings.

Participates in the coordination and monitoring of snagging and project

Provide support to Resident Engineer/Team lead to ensure projects run smoothly
by providing expert knowledge and advice.

Liaises with the Design team on modifications if required.

Gives daily site reports and highlights issues that arise on site to the
Resident Engineer.

Coordinates with the other team members(Electrical and Mechanical Engineers)

Monitor Health and Safety of the construction works and report on violations.

Draw the required section through the pavement or the soft landscape areas.

Review the contracts documents to decide the required materials samples and

Making sure there is suitable access to the site for disabled people and other

Specific Skills Required:

Site experience in basic design requirements- estimation- installation and all
site activities related to all Landscape works including golf courses

Familiar with all the landscape Engineering methodologies as well as the
corresponding equipment- materials- consumables- tools related to landscaping

Well versed in interpreting and executing Landscaping related drawings.

Have the knowledge of the related authorities requirements

Computer literate – proficient in programs such as AutoCAD- Word- Excel-

Minimum Requirements

10-15 years demonstrable experience in the parks construction- design and all aspects of supervision and project administration of the landscaping works(Parks) related to large-scale projects within Middle East/ UAE mainly in Abu Dhabi in the consulting industry desirable preferred.

Required specific Museum project experience

Preferable if available in Abu Dhabi and the history of experience is a supervision consultant.

Preferred Qualifications

Education Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent would be preferred. ESTIDAMA- LEED GA or AP Certifications.

Job Responsibilities
Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising the construction of Irrigation / landscaping works and associated items.
Act in place of the Resident Engineer when on leave or absent.
Chairs the meetings with the agencies and any other meetings delegated by the Resident Engineer.
Coordinate his direct activities with the other engineers and members of the construction supervision team.
Assist the Resident Engineer in reviewing of shop drawings, design proposals, method statements and other activities including correspondence related to the utility section and prepare replies for the review of the Resident Engineer.
Coordinate with Parsons’ design engineers for resolution of related issues.
Maintain the daily diary and the daily reports by the inspectors.
Coordinate with the contractor engineers on scheduling and application of resources.
Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the inspectors and surveyors as applicable.
Convene and chair special meetings with the service authorties, the contractor, subcontractors and other parties related to his work.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.

: Design and develop online trade product products/solutions according to client needs in order to minimise transaction related manual work for the client and the bank Test bug fixes and enhancements for all online systems relating to Trade Finance in order to ensure issues are resolved/fixed and enhancements meet business requirements Coordinate with external vendors, IT teams and business users on system issues in order to ensure resolution/close within agreed turnaround times

Trade Implementation
: Review client applications and complete online system client on-boarding activities to ensure clients are effectively on-boarded in line with agreed standard operating procedures/internal guidelines Update and maintain the MIS report/tracker for customer sign-ups and straight through processing (STP) transactions in order to measure/report on the increase in utilisation of online systems

Training, Advice and Guidance:
Conduct onsite/offsite system demonstrations and refresher training, provide guidance, answer queries and resolve issues relating to all online systems/channels to ensure maximum utilisation by external clients Conduct training for internal stakeholders on all online systems, including new joiners in the clients team and share updates on the latest system enhancements/features to build awareness/capability and encourage maximise utilisation of online trade channels. Act as the subject matter expert/key contact for all online trade systems, identify, resolve and/or escalate issues to ensure a streamlined and efficient implementation process

Management Information:
Gather customer experience feedback, analyse information/data and prepare management information/reports relating to status of client onboarding, channel utilisation, issues, client feedback, migration progress, channel growth, constraints and development requirements in order monitor/track progress/completion of activities and help inform future strategy/roadmap

Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders

Minimum Experience

At least 5 years of experience in Trade Finance including experience in the implementation of trade front end systems either in a client facing or technology role

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant specialisation Professional Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills

Understanding of Trade Finance products, processes and related IT systems/platforms

Ability to train customers on front-end trade systems

Ability to resolve and address queries from client and internal stakeholders

Abitlity to design and devolop products/solutions

Microsoft Office skills (Word; Excel and PowerPoint)
