Key responsibilities

Report to HK Supervisor in case Guest valuables are exposed. Follow Key Issue no.1 by Attending to the guest, we acknowledge guests immediately establish eye contact and greet them in friendly manner. Leave everything when recognizing a guest. Provide all guests with professional service.

For our Sales Team based in Dubai, we are currently looking for a

Regional Director of Sales Middle East & Africa

Key responsibilities

Create a culture of success, heightened business focus and goal achievement.
Align the hotels sales organization’s objectives with business strategy through sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
Define optimal sales force structure and design, including sales job roles, sales channel design, and sales resource deployment.
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share and other key financial performance objectives.
Lead learning and development initiatives aimed at uplifting the sales organization competence and provide stewardship of sales and sales management talent.
Put in place the infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function. Establish and govern the sales organizations performance management system – SalesForce.com. This includes establishing guiding principles for managing performance, establishing and prioritizing critical performance measures for all the sales team.
Plan, implement and monitor performance of all aspects of the sales departments through development of short and long range strategies with existing and new markets segments.
Hire and develop sales staff and ensure there is effective succession planning
Become known as an employer of choice and a sales force that top sales people want to join.
Oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that will motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets

Key requirements

Bachelor’s degree / MBA
Strategic thinking with proven record in dealing with senior leadership
10 or more years of relevant experience with substantial experience at the senior executive leadership level
Experienced as a Regional Director of Sales or Director of Sales//Director of Business Development for multi-property/Country environment preferred
Proven track record of effectively running an international sales team with a high emphasis on driving results, leading change and fostering a high degree of coordination between functions
Proven ability to generate sales and ability to seek out new business with excellent problem solving skills
This position requires extensive travel
Strong knowledge of the Middle East & Africa market
Fluent in English, Arabic preferable

Key responsibilities

Responsible for: maintaining the entire hotel facility; including physical building structure; all mechanical, electrical, systems and related equipment
Ensures the upkeep of guest areas and maintains an attractive hotel and all back of house areas
Manages all rehabilitation, expansion and special projects
Leads hotel renovations and other projects, negotiates contracts and ensures timely completion of projects within budget
