At the moment, we are looking for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our enthusiastic, warm and friendly Food & Beverage team at Crowne Plaza Dubai.

 

As the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will assist the Director Food & Beverage to develop and set Food & Beverage strategies for the hotel to ensure F&B revenue goals are achieved, tactical plans are created and implemented.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCIAL RETURNS

  • Monitor the department’s actual and expected sales to ensure revenue goals are met or target exceeded and opportunities are identified and addressed.
  • Assist in Developing and Managing Food and Beverage budget
  • Ensures food & beverage policies are in place in areas and followed by all related employees.

PEOPLE

  • Involve in recruiting food & beverage team members who demonstrate strong food & beverage background and creativity to meet the business needs of the operation.
  • Provides support, guidance and direction to team members, including monitoring of performance.
  • Coaches food & beverage team to effectively manage wages, food & beverage cost and manageable expenditures.
  • Ensures that expectations and objectives are clearly communicated to team members
  • Ensures team members are treated fairly and equitably.

 

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

  • Provides services that are above and beyond for Guests satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Develops service by communicating and supporting the team to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching if required.
  • Reviews results from comment cards and guest satisfaction with the team and provide suitable corrective action is taken.
  • Reviews comment cards, guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas of improvement.
  • Empowers and support the team to provide excellent guest service.

 

ACCOUNTABILITY

Responsible for food and beverage operations, including Restaurants/Bars, Room Service and Banquets/Catering, where applicable. This role assists the Director Food & Beverage in the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand standard strategy, ensures employee satisfaction, and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department. Develops and implements schemes that bring products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the Guests, property employees and provides a return on investment.

Qualifications

Degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major, 4 years’ experience in the food and beverage operations.
