Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
Responsible for the execution of all plumbing maintenance works in an efficient manner as specified in the technical & administrative directives.
Monitor sewage tank’s levels & clearing by trucks, domestic & irrigation water tanks, pump rooms & truck fillings.
Maintain the pool and all water features using proper chemicals and cleaners & maintain the pool pumps, filters and swimming pool filtration units.
Respond to swimming pool related work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery or equipment.
Regularly testing swimming pool water quality and pH balance; the chemical levels in public swimming pools and other water systems and adjusts as needed.
Operates and inspects tools and equipment and makes minor adjustments and repairs, Repairs and maintains electrical and mechanical equipment, Logging and reporting equipment faults or water quality problems to managers.
Servicing heating, circulation and de-humidifier systems.
Responsible for storage and management of plumbing stores
Prepare material requisition for presentation to superiors
Carry out scheduled inspection rounds
Responsible for repairing all plumbing fixtures
To secure that all safety requirements are applied while engaged at work.
Execution of daily repair requests/ works as per engineering department manual and manufacturers catalogues.
Works in shifts as per the department needs.
Executing any other works requested by the Chief engineer or Maintenance Supervisor
To move into this position you should have
High School Certificate or Diploma in any Engineering Field or apprenticeship plumbing.
Previous Five star hotel experience.
Good command of English language (Read, Write, and Speak)
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules (i.e., Lockout Tagout, Job Safety Analysis)
Safety Awareness information and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports, keep logs, and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively with customers and associates.
Middle East Experience is a Plus
