Join us as an Engineering Coordinator at Crowne Plaza Dubai – Deira. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who will be responsible for ensuring the amazing administrative activities. Supporting the Chief Engineer to provide a co-ordination and administrative service for the hotel Engineering team to assist with Engineering Operations administration within the InterContinental Hotels Group guidelines.

As a Engineering Coordinator, you will ensures timely forwarding and receiving of relevant information related to the Engineering department in order to achieve open communication, maintain set standards and achieve internal and external guest satisfaction. Prioritizes and types all correspondence as requested. Types reports, letters, memorandum, forms and correspondence including those of confidential nature and maintains files for all. Raises purchase requests for all office stationary. Ensures that all outgoing mails, memorandum, circulars and letters are written with care and dispatched accordingly. Ensures that all records and files are kept up to date and that all correspondence is typed promptly and according to instructions given.

Also, you will maintains an effective filing system that is easily accessible. Assists in printing procedures, Maintains positive relationships with the Engineering Team and other interfacing departments. In the absence of the Chief Engineer, ensures that all incoming messages are delivered correctly and promptly. Managing the e-mail account of the Engineering Department. Manages the calendar for meetings and appointments of the Chief Engineer his attendance and punctuality as required or committed. Maintains working area and equipment in proper state of cleanliness and repair and also s aware and adheres to the Brand standards.

For this role you will have Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification or prior experience in hospitality and administration. Strong Business communication and administrative skills. Ability to be self-motivated, organized and demonstrates good team work. Advance IT Skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Fluency in English is require and Pro-active approach, and the ability to meet deadlines.
