Requirements
• High school diploma
• 5 years of experience in all aspects of warehouse and freight logistics
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience within the warehouse and freight logistics
industry

Implementing Policies and Procedures
Execute the policies and procedures set for ERC procurement department
Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy
Decrease working capital and improve cash flow by ensuring savings in purchasing by sourcing competitive suppliers, planned strategy, on-time delivery planning and introducing new contract and payment methodology.
Control the budget on purchasing
Maintaining Solid Purchasing Database
Maintain a comprehensive supplier/vendor database for all foreign/local plant purchases inclusive of contractual terms & conditions, price structures and contact personnel.
Negotiating with the Suppliers and Developing New Contracts
Negotiate and implement short-term/long-term contracts with suppliers for all the raw materials, finished goods and company department related services in line with industry and/or ERC quality standards.
Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales
Ensure multiple suppliers for all company related purchases, raw materials, finished goods and services as per standard operating procedures, Q.C approvals and organizational requirements.
Conduct trials for all new suppliers and raw materials as per plant procedures and in accordance with ERC guidelines.
Tracking, Following Up and Clearance

Facilitate new SKU launches and activities within the stipulated lead-times and coordination of all support activities.
Implement internal shipment and logistics tracking system for all plant and organizational foreign purchased items from post-order placement to final delivery at ERC.
Ensure clearance of the goods and timely delivery to the plant
Preferably with Water Company experience
Minimum of 3 years
